We’re no stranger to wild weather in the South Island. It almost becomes hard to picture what this mountain looks like in your mind since it never looks the same with ever changing light and clouds. I’ve shot this mountain many times from many angles and out of the hundreds of images, this one in particular stands out for me. I am a huge fan of contrasting imagery and what this lake embodies to me as a home away from home and playground sits in stark contrast to the foreboding storm approaching.
